Role Purpose:

As Quality Assurance & Health & Safety Lead, you safeguard and continuously strengthen Petrodec’s Integrated Management System across quality, occupational health and technical safety. You ensure compliance with legislation and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001), maintain audit readiness, lead incident investigations and act as a trusted advisor to operational management.
By bridging governance and operations, you reinforce safety culture, reduce risk exposure and ensure structured, reliable compliance across projects and offshore activities — driving continuous improvement in both system performance and operational integrity.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation, verification and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS)
  • Plan and perform 1st, 2nd and 3rd party audits (internal, supplier and certification audits)
  • Monitor and interpret new legislation and industry standards; translate requirements into operational practice
  • Lead and support incident investigations and root cause analyses
  • Ensure document control and compliance with Petrodec filing and governance standards
  • Advise Rig Managers, OIMs and department heads on QHSE risks, deviations and mitigation measures
  • Support emergency preparedness planning, drills and safety reviews (HAZID / HAZOP / COMOPS)
  • Manage supplier performance reviews and compliance assessments
  • Drive corrective action tracking and system improvements
  • Provide leadership and promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organisation

 

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Safety, Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2 years offshore operational experience or strong affinity with offshore environments
  • Demonstrable experience with ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 management systems
  • Experience performing internal and/or supplier audits
  • Experience in incident investigation and root cause analysis
  • Strong knowledge of QHSE legislation and regulatory compliance
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
